It all started in 1983 in the basement of a Dubuque, Iowa, home along the Mississippi River, with John Biver and a single partner. Their initial product was focused on improving productivity. A software program called RoadCalc™, it was designed to provide surveyors and engineers with automated corridor-based survey data entry, design and staking capabilities. Over the next 25 years Eagle Point continued to expand its product offerings providing a complete design solution with over 70 products serving 65,000 global customers.

In 2011 Eagle Point launched the first generation of the Productivity Generator Platform, introduced as Pinnacle Series. Spending the next two years proving viability of the new platform, Eagle Point began to retire its legacy products converting most customers to Autodesk solutions. Always looking forward, Eagle Point solely focuses on helping organizations become more productive through the Productivity Generator platform and our commitment to continuous learning.
